- I believe that Jesus was crucified and is the atoning sacrifice for our sins and the sins of the whole world. Jn. 19:18, 1 Jn. 2:2.
- Jesus is the only Gospel. Gal.1: 8-9.
- The defining of the gospel is found in 1 Cor. 15: 1-4.
- I believe in salvation by grace. Ephes. 2:8-9.
- We are justified through grace not the law.
- Salvation is the saving from God’s righteous judgement.
- Salvation, which is the forgiveness of sins, is accomplished by faith alone. Rom. 4:1-11.
- I believe that Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day after he was crucified. 1 Cor. 15:14.
- If righteousness could be gained through the law, then Jesus died for nothing. Gal. 2:21.
- We become conscious of our sin through the law. Rom. 3:20.
- The law is not opposed to the promises of God. Gal. 3:21.
- I believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation. Jesus answered “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- We are all mandated to preach the gospel, to share the good news of salvation. “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16 15-16.
- We could not present the gospel correctly if we did not declare that Jesus is God in the flesh. Jn. 1:1, 14, 10: 30-33, 20:28, Col. 2:9. Phil. 2:5-8. Heb. 1:8.
- I believe that we are to proclaim Jesus to the world and warn them of the dangers of not believing in Christ, and we are to teach Christians the word of God so that the Body of Christ can come to full maturity. Col. 1:28.
- We are to love God and love others. This is why we are to meet our brothers and sisters needs. 1 Jn. 4:21.
- The greatest commandment is to Love the Lord your God with all your heart all your soul and all your mind and love your neighbor as yourself. Mat. 22: 37-39.
- I believe the bible is the inherent word of God I believe the bible from cover to cover. 2 Tim. 3:16.
- We are to study the bible as children of God for ourselves. 2 Tim. 2:15.
- I believe we are to be Baptized with the Holy Spirit. “ Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” Jn. 3:5
- I believe when we are baptized with the Holy Spirit we become indued with power. Mark 16:17-18.
- God has sent his Son Jesus into the world and when we rely on Jesus we will remain in peace even though we face trouble. Is. 28:16, Phil. 4:6-7.
- I believe in the trinity God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Jn. 14:9.
- Jesus is God in the flesh. Jn. 8:58. With Ex. 3:14, Jn. 1:1-5, Jn, 1:14, Jn. 10:30-33, Jn. 20:28; Col. 2:9, Phil. 2:5-8, Heb. 1:8.
- I believe that Jesus came in the flesh. According to Jn. 4: 2-3, says “This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.”
- I believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and if you do not receive Jesus as your Lord and savior then you will die in your sins. Jn. 8:24.
- The way to obtain salvation is found in Rom. 10: 9-10.
- You should serve no other God’s. Ex. 20: 3-6.
- You have been saved by grace, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the free gift of God. Ephes. 2:8.
