Devotional #2

“For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” (NKJV)
Christ died for the ungodly. We have all been ungodly before we came to Christ. God loves us
right where we’re at. He knows everything you’ve ever done and still loves you. God is not your
enemy he is for you! If you have received Jesus as your Lord and savior then wherever you are
in your walk today with the Lord you can rest in comfort knowing that God loves you and that
his grace covers you today. If you have not received Jesus as your Lord and savior then know
that God loves you and wants a personal relationship with you and you can have that today by
receiving Jesus as your Lord and savior. If you’d like to receive Jesus as your Lord and savior
pray this prayer out loud, “Jesus, I believe you died and shed your blood for me on the cross so I
could be saved. Jesus, I come to you today a sinner and confess my sins to you and ask for
forgiveness of all my sins. I turn away from all my sins and I ask that you cleanse me of all
unrighteousness. Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart and be my savior and Lord of my life.
from this day forward I will live for you. If you’ve prayed that prayer and meant it from your
heart then you are born again by the blood of Jesus and saved by the finished work of the cross.
I encourage you to find a good bible, based church that believes in all of the bible to attend so
that you would have a spiritual family to help you along your journey with Lord.
